Well, things are getting interesting in the Schultz household. Gus is starting to crawl and starting to play with his big brothers’ toys. Ryan is being very patient, but we can see he’s starting to wonder if this ‘little brother’ thing is such a good idea after all…
Other than family life, I’m also in a great season of songwriting. Kate has been helping me with some of the upcoming songs, and I think you’re really going to love them. We sure do. We’re in a season of life where a lot of our friends are dealing with hard things–health related, family related and otherwise–and we’re trying to write songs that are personal but also universal. We hope a lot of you will be encouraged by the new music, wherever you may be in your life.
It’s a hard season for Christians. All over the world, our fellow brothers and sisters are being persecuted, and I’m reminded how blessed I am to get to write and share songs about God everyday. I’m hoping that during this time my music is also able to encourage those who are suffering for Christ.
Speaking of encouragement, let’s see how much we can all love and encourage one another this year. I can’t wait to share more and more with all of you on social media, so make sure you’ve connected with me on Facebook and Twitter. I’m looking forward to sharing music and more with you this year.
