Word Records’ renowned song storyteller Mark Schultz topped SoundScan’s Christian Music Video Chart for four consecutive weeks with his live CD/DVD set, Mark Schultz Live—A Night Of Stories & Songs.
His fourth national release, a project featuring live performance video footage along with a Schultz-hosted documentary, debuted at No. 1 on the video chart the first week following its Sept. 27 release.

Mark Schultz Live—A Night Of Stories & Songs additionally features the hit single, “I Am,” which recently garnered the No. 1 spot on PDA’s INSP chart. The song further continues to climb at radio this week with Top 5 positions on R&R’s AC and INSP charts.
The project also includes Schultz’ acclaimed music video, “Letters From War,” which will further be featured in an upcoming Billy Graham Television Special. Focusing on U.S. troops, with additional commentary from Schultz following his video segment, the program will broadcast on over 150 network affiliates and cable stations the week of Dec. 3-11.
Mark Schultz made his national debut in 2000 with the critically acclaimed release of his self-titled album. In addition to seven No. 1 singles, he has garnered multiple Dove Award nominations, two American Songwriter Awards and a BMI Christian “Song of the Year” Award for “Back In His Arms Again.” As an independent artist, Schultz was one of the few artists to sell out a solo concert at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium.
