My name is Nicole Bjork. I am sixteen years old. A little over a month ago, on August 13, three days before my sixteenth birthday, I gave birth to my daughter, Miya Nicole Faith Bjork. Her name will soon be changed to Miya Nicole Faith Slagle, when I sign the adoption papers tomorrow. I just want you to know that your song, "Everything to Me", helped me make this decision. God had already placed in my heart that adoption was what He wanted, but hearing your song gave me even more peace.

This is without a doubt the hardest thing I have ever done, and I cry almost every day. Thankfully, it is an open adoption, and I am actually going to see her later on today. I thank God every day, because I know how blessed I am.

Chris, at the concert here in GR. We were approached after the concert by a young pregnant woman who indicated that she in fact had an abortion scheduled for the next week. She was so moved by the song and Mark's message regarding the power of adoption that she will not keep that terrible date, but rather talk with her parents about putting her baby up for adoption. She said, Mark is right, it is such a tough decision and there are lots of tears, but it is clear to me now that this life in me should have a future and there are some many good things waiting for this child in the future - thank you for bringing the truth to clarity for me".
 
This was a big one brother and worth the entire effort to pull the event together.
