Mark Schultz Live – A Night Of Stories & Songs CD, DVD Set Releases September 27
(NASHVILLE, TN) – Word Records’ renowned song storyteller Mark Schultz will release the two-disc project Mark Schultz Live – A Night Of Stories & Songs Sept. 27.
His fourth national release, the CD and DVD package features Schultz’ six No. 1 hits and other favorite songs along with a personal look at his rise to the spotlight from Colby, KS to Nashville.
Filmed live before a sold-out crowd at the Marion Civic Center (Marion, IL) earlier this Spring, Mark Schultz Live – A Night Of Stories & Songs includes six favorites, two brand new songs and other timeless classics from Mark’s past three studio albums. The project also includes the brand new studio cut, “I Am,” which currently continues to climb AC and INSP radio charts.
Mark Schultz Live – A Night Of Stories & Songs also features a Schultz-hosted documentary detailing his hope-filled journey from Colby, KS to Nashville, making his dreams a reality with the help of friends along the way. The biography introduces viewers to some of his closest friends and family, the inspirations behind his music.
The project further includes the two music videos, “I Have Been There,” and his most recent hit, the poignant “Letters from War,” the centerpiece of the U.S. Army’s 2004 award winning “Be safe! – Make It Home” awareness safety program.
Mark Schultz made his national debut in 2000 with the critically acclaimed release of his self-titled album. In addition to six No. 1 singles, he has garnered multiple Dove Award nominations, two American Songwriter Awards and a BMI Christian “Song of the Year” Award for “Back In His Arms Again.” As an independent artist, Schultz was one of the few artists to sell out a solo concert at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium.
