Come Alive Tour UpdateApril 19, 2010 7:25 pm 9 Comments
Well, the first half of the Spring tour is in the books, and we are on to the second half. It was the longest (consecutive day in a row) tour I have ever been a part of..23 shows in 26 days!!! That is a lot of singing. Good thing that I was out with the Point of Grace Girls (who are the best to travel with!!) as well as an outstanding band and crew. We all agreed that the Come Alive Tour is one of THE BEST tour experiences we have had. We started in Texas, made our way through New Mexico and Arizona…Had a blast in California (thanks for the great weather) and then up through Oregon, Washington, Vancouver BC, Canada….then back to these United States, Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska and finally Missouri.
I was thrilled to meet up with my High School Music Teacher Bill Blue, in Springfield, MO. Bill convinced me to write my very first song my senior year in High School. It was a great turning point for me; a bad song, but a great moment in my life! I had lost contact with him over the years so it was neat for him to see my show and see what he started all those years ago in the practice rooms back at Colby High School.
Looking forward to these final shows as we wrap up the Come Alive Tour in April and May. It has been quite an event, we would love to see you!!
